Kevin Cates is the Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas.

 

Before pursuing and receiving an MFA at University of Memphis in 2006, he spent 12 years in Little Rock, Arkansas in the field of design beginning as a printshop typesetter. This was followed by four years in an advertising agency as assistant art director before moving to the telecommunications company ALLTEL as a graphic artist.

 

Aside from duties as a full-time professor, he is also an experienced freelance designer having completed a diverse range of projects, paid and pro bono. This site is a showcase of that design portfolio as well as personal and professional information.
